Under the patronage of the Presidency of the University of Ninevah, the Continuing Education Center, in cooperation with the College of Pharmacy, organized an awareness campaign entitled “The Proper Use of Dietary Supplements.” The campaign was held at the University Presidency building and targeted university staff and students, as part of the university’s efforts to promote health awareness on campus.
The campaign included the distribution of posters and educational leaflets outlining scientifically sound guidelines for the use of dietary supplements. Emphasis was placed on the importance of not taking supplements without consulting healthcare professionals, as well as highlighting the risks of excessive use or considering them a substitute for medical treatment.
This campaign reflects the University of Ninevah’s commitment to spreading health awareness and promoting preventive behaviors among members of the university community, thereby contributing to the development of a well-informed and healthy academic environment grounded in solid scientific knowledge.
