University of Ninevah Participates in the Gulf Education Exhibition 2026 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

The University of Ninevah participated within the unified Iraqi pavilion in the 19th edition of the Gulf Education Exhibition, held at Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with wide participation from Arab and international universities and educational institutions.

Representing the University of Ninevah in this event were Professor Dr. Ammar Saadoun Hamed, Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, and Mr. Safaa Rajab Mohammed, Head of the Arab and International Students Division at the Scholarships and Cultural Relations Department. The university’s academic programs and scientific specializations were presented, along with opportunities for scientific cooperation and academic exchange.

The participation aimed to support the “Study in Iraq” program, attract Arab and international students to study in Iraqi universities, and highlight the solid educational environment and the growing academic capacities available at the University of Ninevah.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, the University of Ninevah delegation held a series of meetings with delegations from Iraqi, Arab, and international universities participating in the event, during which invitations were extended to establish scientific partnerships, agreements, and memoranda of understanding to enhance academic cooperation and exchange of expertise. Among the prominent universities contacted were Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, Sohar University in Oman, and the University of Coimbra in Portugal.

This participation comes as part of the University of Ninevah’s efforts to strengthen its academic presence regionally and internationally and to build effective scientific partnerships in alignment with sustainable development goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
