Upon the kind invitation of the Organization for Combating Violence and Promoting Peace, and under the directives of the President of the University of Ninevah, Professor Dr. Osama Ismail Al-Mashhadani, the University of Ninevah participated in the activities of the Peace Teams Conference in Nineveh 2025. The university was represented by the President’s Deputy and Dean of the College of Electronics Engineering, Professor Dr. Khalid Khalil Mohammed, on Monday, October 20, 2025.
The conference was held under the patronage of the Governor of Nineveh, Mr. Abdul Qader Al-Dakhil, with the participation of several volunteer teams and civil society organizations.
The conference discussed the activities of volunteer organizations and their role in promoting social peace, preventing violence and extremism, and spreading the values of peace and coexistence through community and volunteer initiatives that contribute to building a cohesive and harmonious society.
