The University of Ninevah, represented by its President, Professor Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, received the esteemed Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities, Professor Dr. Ahmed Fakak Al-Badrani, on Thursday, July 3, 2025. The meeting was attended by the University Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Jaafar Ramadan Mohammed, and the Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ammar Saadoun Hamed.
The meeting began with a warm welcome for the Minister’s honorable visit and a presentation highlighting the university’s academic and infrastructural achievements. In turn, the Minister expressed his delight at the distinguished academic reputation the University of Nineveh has attained in a remarkably short time, affirming his full support for the university in advancing the status of higher education institutions in the province.
The discussions also addressed ways to enhance mutual cooperation to develop the educational journey in the province’s universities and improve the educational, medical, and tourism sectors in our dear province. In this context, Dr. Al-Mashhadani expressed the University of Nineveh’s openness and readiness to collaborate with all institutions in ways that contribute to the progress and development of the province, in service of its cherished citizens.
