With great pride and honor, we extend our congratulations to Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Awad Abdullah, Director of the Department of Media and Government Communication at the University, on winning first place in the Arab Novel Award for his distinguished novel “Madaris Shahreen”, following intense international competition that included more than 620 novels from 30 Arab and foreign countries, under the patronage of Al-Khulq Al-Azeem Foundation affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein.

This achievement reflects the cultural and academic standing of the University of Ninevah and affirms its pioneering role in supporting intellectual, literary, and creative endeavors. The significance of the novel lies in the fact that it is the first Arab literary work to address the topic of the Mandaean Sabians through a modern narrative vision that combines symbolic depth with stylistic elegance.
