Within the Iraqi-Iranian Science Week in Holy Karbala,University of Ninevah Signs Scientific Cooperation Agreements with Seven Iranian Universities

As part of the celebrations of the Iraqi-Iranian Science Week in Holy Karbala and in line with the agreement between the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology,

The University of Ninevah, represented by its President, Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, along with the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Jaafar Ramadan Mohammed, the Director of the Scholarships and Cultural Relations Department, and a team from the same department and the President’s Office, signed joint scientific cooperation agreements with seven Iranian universities. These included:
• University of Tehran
• Tarbiat Modares University
• Isfahan University of Technology
• Lorestan University
• University of Kurdistan
• Shiraz University of Technology
• University of Sistan and Baluchestan

The agreements covered several key areas, including:
• Enhancing joint cooperation in scholarship programs for undergraduate and postgraduate studies, particularly within the “Study in Iraq” initiative.
• Organizing training workshops for faculty members and students.
• Encouraging collaboration in joint scientific supervision.
• Facilitating the exchange of university professors for conducting joint research and delivering lectures in their areas of expertise.

These agreements aim to strengthen cooperation between the universities of both countries, contributing to the exchange of expertise and the advancement of educational and research progress in Iraq and Iran.
