On the morning of April 22, a delegation from the Deanship of the College of Information Technology at Nineveh University made a scientific visit to the American University of Kurdistan (Dohuk). The delegation was composed of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Othman and the Head of the Software Department, Dr. Azhar Sabah Abdel Aziz, in addition to a number of faculty members and fourth-year students from the Software Department and the Computer Networks and Internet Department.
The delegation was warmly received by the University officer of protocol and the delegation visited the university’s library, which contains more than 35,000 indexed books and more than 500,000 electronic sources. The visit also included the College of Engineering, where the college’s laboratories and halls were viewed. The matter did not stop there, as the visit also included the College of Nursing and its modern laboratories.
During the visit, presentations on the university’s activities were listened to at the University Theater. At the end of the visit, the delegation was bid farewell with the same warmth with which they were received, with the hope that a delegation from the American University will visit the headquarters of Nineveh University and its colleges.
