As part of the activities of the tenth anniversary of the founding of Nineveh University, the College of Information Technology celebrated the announcement of the results of the “Third Programming Competition 2024”. The prominent event, which was sponsored by the President of the University of Nineveh, the esteemed Professor Dr. Osama Ismail Al-Mashhadani, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Information Technology, the esteemed Professor Dr. Manar Younis Kashmoula, witnessed the honoring of the winning student teams in the competition.
The “The will to Reach the Summit” team (Muhammad Fakhri Sabour, Sultan Marwan Faisal / University of Nineveh / College of Electronics Engineering / Department of Computer and Informatics Engineering) achieved first place, excelling in its distinguished programming skills, followed by the C2 team (Abdul Rahman Ammar, Abdul Rahman Saddam, Mustafa Muhammad Nizam Al-Din / University of Nineveh / College of Electronics Engineering / Department of Computer and Informatics Engineering) who won second place in a strong competition. The awards were distributed by Professor Dr. Manar Younis Kashmoula, emphasizing the great importance that the college attaches to innovation and academic excellence.
The Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs also honored the student in the Networks Department (Harith Bashar) because he won the first place in the competition held by the Ministry of Culture entitled
“The role of information security and artificial intelligence in electronic governance and digital transactions”
This achievement is an important step towards enhancing scientific research and technological development at the university, and highlights the pioneering role of the College of Information Technology in supporting and encouraging students to innovate and excel in the fields of science and technology.
