an effort to enhance the skills of its faculty members and provide them with expertise in their respective fields, the university’s administration is keen on the development of its staff.On Wednesday, April 3rd, 2024, Professor Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, the President of the University of Nineveh, met with Dr. Aws Mohammed Thabit, a faculty member at the College of Medicine, upon his return from Japan after successfully completing a specialized training course in Neurosurgical Techniques. He also met with Dr. Laith Mohammed Al-Khatib, a member of Mosul Health Department, who completed a course on Thoracic Surgery Techniques.During the meeting, the two doctors discussed the courses they attended in their respective specialties and the modern techniques used in Japan. The trainees emphasized the wealth of valuable information and experience gained during these courses, which will contribute to transferring this knowledge to medical personnel, thereby enhancing the healthcare sector.The University President expressed the university’s keen interest in sending its staff to participate in various training courses and scientific events aimed at developing the expertise of its faculty members and keeping them abreast of the latest advancements to benefit from and apply these experiences.At the end of the meeting, the University President presented letters of appreciation to the trainees, wishing them continued progress and prosperity in serving the educational and healthcare sectors in our beloved country.
