The Department of Quality Assurance and Academic Performance at our university, in collaboration with the Office of the Assistant to the University President for Administrative Affairs, held a workshop on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at the Rehabilitation and Employment Hall. The workshop was attended by Assistant to the President for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Amar Al-Mashhadani. The workshop titled “Renewable Energy” covered explanations of renewable energy sources, their mechanisms, uses, and benefits. It also provided a detailed explanation of suitable locations for establishing renewable energy systems in Iraq to maximize their utilization in energy generation, based on global studies, research, and data.
The workshop witnessed discussions and recommendations from attendees, aiming to increase the establishment of renewable energy systems in Iraq to achieve a clean environment and sustainable development.
