Lecturer at the College of Information Technology, University of Ninevah, Assistant Lecturer Muhammad Talal Muhammad, has achieved a new scientific accomplishment through conducting a research study in collaboration with Assistant Professor Dr. Tamara Muhammad from Al Ain University, United Arab Emirates, which was published in a prestigious international scientific journal indexed in the Scopus database and ranked in the first quartile (Q1).
The research, entitled:
“The Impact of Artificial Intelligence Capabilities on Institutional Performance: The Mediating Role of Dynamic Capability”
was published in the International Journal of Organizational Analysis, a journal ranked in the first quartile (Q1) in the Scopus database, with a CiteScore of 9.1. The journal is also indexed in the Web of Science, with an Impact Factor of 2.9.
The study examined the impact of artificial intelligence capabilities on institutional performance, while investigating the mediating role of dynamic capabilities in explaining this relationship. It focused on how organizations leverage artificial intelligence capabilities to enhance their performance and strengthen their ability to adapt to rapidly evolving technological changes.
The findings demonstrated a positive impact of artificial intelligence capabilities on institutional performance, in addition to confirming the mediating role of dynamic capabilities. This highlights that effectively benefiting from artificial intelligence technologies depends not only on technological adoption, but also on developing organizations’ dynamic and organizational capabilities, thereby contributing to improved levels of performance and sustainability.
This achievement comes within the framework of international research collaboration between the University of Ninevah and Al Ain University in the United Arab Emirates. It reflects the growing research activity of the University’s academics and their engagement in international academic partnerships, as well as the increasing presence of their scholarly output in prestigious international journals.
