Dr. Fares Mahmoud Ahmed Al-Hamdani, a faculty member at the College of Medicine, University of Ninevah, participated in the International Conference on Nonlinear Physics in Renewable Energy Systems (ICNPRES-26), held in London, United Kingdom, on 13–14 August 2026 via the Zoom platform.
His participation featured a joint research paper co-authored with Assistant Professor Dr. Miead Salem Younis from the University of Mosul, entitled:
“Influence of TiO₂ and SnO₂ Nanoparticle Thin Films Deposited by Pulsed Laser Deposition on Organic Solar Cell Performance”
The research investigated the impact of TiO₂ and SnO₂ nanoparticle thin films, deposited using Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD) technology, on enhancing the performance of organic solar cells.
This participation reflects the University of Ninevah’s commitment to supporting scientific research and strengthening academic collaboration. It also contributes to expanding the international presence of the University and its faculty members in scientific forums, while supporting innovation and sustainable development, particularly Sustainable Development Goal 9 (SDG 9), which focuses on Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure.
