Assistant Professor Dr. Nada Fadhil Abdul-Majeed, a faculty member at the College of Medicine, University of Ninevah, participated as a member of the examination committee for a Master’s thesis in the Department of Biology, College of Education for Women, University of Mosul, entitled:
“The Effect of Cholecalciferol and Phylloquinone on the Virulence of Pseudomonas aeruginosa Causing Burn Infections”
The thesis investigated the effects of cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) and phylloquinone (vitamin K1) on the virulence factors of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, a bacterium responsible for burn infections. The study aimed to enhance understanding of its pathogenic mechanisms and support research efforts toward developing complementary therapeutic approaches.
The examination committee comprised a group of specialized faculty members, and the defense concluded with the approval of the thesis following the completion of the required revisions.
At the conclusion of the defense, a Letter of Appreciation and Commendation was presented to Assistant Professor Dr. Nada Fadhil Abdul-Majeed in recognition of her scientific participation in the examination committee.
