In a scientific gathering that reflects the growing academic and research standing of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Ninevah, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Maysar Mohammed Ali Al-Qutaji, participated as a speaker at the International Scientific Conference on Pharmaceutical Sciences (PharmSci 2026), held in Newcastle, United Kingdom, from 7 to 9 September 2026.
Professor Dr. Maysar Al-Qutachi was selected among the distinguished speakers at the conference in recognition of his scientific and research contributions. He presented his research paper entitled:
“Targeted Intestinal Topical Delivery of Metformin Enhances GLP-1-Mediated Metabolic Effects”
The research addressed a topic related to recent advances in drug delivery and GLP-1-associated metabolic effects, in line with contemporary research trends aimed at developing more efficient and precise therapeutic and pharmaceutical approaches.
