As part of efforts to strengthen scientific and academic cooperation among Iraqi universities, the College of Pharmacy at the University of Ninevah participated in the 12th International Scientific Conference of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Baghdad, held on 20–21 October 2026 to mark the 90th anniversary of the College’s establishment, under the theme “Pharmaceutical Innovations for Sustainable Healthcare.”
The conference was attended by Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul Hassan Atiya Hassan, President of the University of Baghdad; Prof. Dr. Sarmad Hashim Al-Khatib, Dean of the College of Pharmacy; and Dr. Pharmacist Haider Fouad Al-Saigh, President of the Iraqi Pharmacists Syndicate, alongside a distinguished group of academics, researchers, and specialists in pharmaceutical sciences.
The University of Ninevah was represented at the conference by Prof. Dr. Muyassar Mohammed Al-Qutchi, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, and Assistant Professor Dr. Hassan Saad Saeed, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs. Their participation reflects the University’s active presence at national scientific and academic forums.
This participation aligns with the University of Ninevah’s commitment to expanding cooperation with Iraqi universities, promoting the exchange of expertise and research experiences, supporting the development of pharmaceutical education, advancing scientific research, and keeping pace with the latest developments in pharmaceutical sciences.
