Iraq has obtained international accreditation from the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME)

for its medical education programs. The WFME granted full international accreditation to the National Commission for Accreditation of Medical Colleges in Iraq (NCAMC) for program evaluation and quality standards in medical education. The accreditation, recognized until 2034, acknowledges NCAMC’s policies and procedures in ensuring the quality of medical education. The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboodi, congratulates the Iraqi people and government, as well as the National Council for Accreditation of Medical Colleges, universities, and health institutions on this historic achievement. The international accreditation reflects the dedicated efforts of our national educational institutions, demonstrating confidence, responsibility, and a remarkable accomplishment in Iraq’s medical education environment.
