On the sidelines of the launch event of the first edition of the “Encyclopedia of the University Woman,” the University of Nineveh signed a memorandum of understanding for academic cooperation with the University of the Book.

The University of Nineveh, represented by its president, Professor Dr. Osama Al-Mushhadani, is keen on fostering scientific and academic partnerships and exchanging expertise with both international and local universities.

A delegation from the University of Nineveh, led by its president and attended by the scientific assistant, Dr. Jafar Ramadan Mohammed, Dean of the College of Nursing Dr. Radwan Hussein Ibrahim, and a select group of department heads, signed a memorandum of understanding for academic cooperation with the University of the Alkitab, in the presence of its president, Dr. Ayad Barzanji, and esteemed council members.

The agreement includes collaboration in the areas of scientific research and academia, participation in organizing scientific events and activities, exchange visits of professors and students. Both parties have agreed to activate this agreement to benefit from the expertise of the faculties of both universities in advancing their educational mission.

It is worth mentioning that the University of the Alkitab ranks highly among Iraqi private universities and is featured in numerous international rankings, with a student population of 17,000 across various medical, engineering, and humanities disciplines. We extend our best wishes for further future cooperation between the two universities in service of students and the educational journey in our beloved country.
