In accordance with the directives of the President of the University of Ninevah, Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, and under the supervision of the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Jaafar Ramadan Mohammed, the University of Ninevah participated in the Second Scientific Conference of the College of Science at Jerash University – Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, entitled: “Prospects of Chemistry: Innovation for a Sustainable Future.”
This participation was represented by a scientific research paper titled:
“Pharmaceutical Workforce Innovation in Public Health Institutions: A Comparative Organizational Study of Protection and Incentives.”
The research was a joint academic collaboration involving Dr. Abeer Mansour Rasool, Dr. Abdullah Saleem Abdullah, and Dr. Fawaz Khalid Abdulaziz.
The study addressed the role of the legal framework in stimulating pharmaceutical innovation by analyzing legal provisions related to the protection of innovators. It also highlighted legislative shortcomings and proposed solutions to ensure the protection of financial and intellectual rights of professionals in this vital sector, thereby supporting and enhancing pharmaceutical innovation in service of the public interest.
The paper is expected to be published in the Journal of the College of Science at Jerash University, which is indexed in Scopus, reflecting the active academic presence of the University of Ninevah in international scholarly forums.
