The College of Pharmacy at the University of Ninevah organized a specialized scientific lecture as part of the Continuing Education Unit’s activities, titled “Principles and Mechanism of ELISA Technique,” coinciding with the operation of a modern ELISA device from Thermo Fisher Scientific. The event took place on April 20, 2026, in the presence of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Maysar Mohammed Al-Qoutaji, and the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs.
The lecture was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Mustafa Ghanem, who reviewed the scientific foundations of the ELISA technique and its applications in the qualitative and quantitative detection of proteins and antibodies, as well as its role in laboratory diagnostics and supporting scientific research.
This activity comes as part of the college’s efforts to keep pace with scientific advancements and enhance the efficiency of its academic staff in utilizing modern laboratory technologies, contributing to improving the quality of education and scientific research.
