Under the sponsorship of the president of the University of Ninevah (also the Dean of the College of Medicine) Prof. Osama Almashhadani, the branch of Internal Medicine in the College of Medicine held a symposium on Friday 28/7/2023 in cooperation with the Iraqi Cardiovascular Association/Nineveh branch and Almosul center for the Iraqi Arabic council by the support of Alhikma company. The symposium was attended by the doctor's head syndicate/Nineveh branch Dr. Mohammed Sulaiman Alhory, a number of the elite professors at the University of Mosul and Ninevah, and doctors from the Nineveh Health Department. The symposium was headed by both Dr. Rafee Alqazzaz and Dr. Khaldoon Alabayachi, it included five lectures about cardiovascular diseases and stroke in young adults, which were presented by :
- Dr. Waseem Hashim Alkhaffaf .
- Dr. Faris Mahmood Alhyali .
- Dr. Ahmed Mahmood Saeed.
- Dr. Ahmed Moayad Hussain.
- Dr. Mahmood Salih Alhadidi/ Nineveh Health Department. The lecturers showed in their lectures several cases of cardiovascular diseases and modern drugs and methods used to treat them. The symposium ended with a discussion and giving shields to the lecturers and presidents of sessions as well as the submission of participatory certificates to attendees. At last, we wish the College of Medicine more success and development.
