University of Ninevah Concludes Participation in the Third Erasmus+ Training Workshop

The University of Ninevah has concluded its participation in the third training workshop of the Erasmus+ Programme, hosted by the Northern Technical University over three days under the initiative of the European Union Mission to Iraq, with the participation of representatives from several Iraqi universities and educational institutions.

The workshop featured specialised training sessions on Erasmus+ programmes and mechanisms for benefiting from international academic mobility opportunities, establishing academic partnerships and agreements, and managing international mobility programmes. The sessions also covered Jean Monnet activities, Erasmus Mundus scholarships, and the procedures for preparing and submitting project proposals.

The University of Ninevah was represented at the workshop by Assistant Professor Dr Laith Rabeh Al-Soufi, Director of the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations, and Dr Sarmad Fakhr Al-Din Ismail, Head of the Cultural Relations Division.

This participation reflects the University of Ninevah’s commitment to strengthening its engagement in international academic cooperation programmes, expanding its partnerships with European and international educational institutions, and enhancing its institutional readiness to benefit from Erasmus+ opportunities. These efforts aim to broaden opportunities for students and academic staff in international academic mobility, scientific exchange, and capacity building.
