In the interest of Ninevah University represented by its president Prof. Dr. Osama Almashhadani to participate to return the cultural and historical heritage to our ancient city, and with the invitation of UNESCO Iraq bureau.
University of Ninevah Prof. Dr. Osama Almashhadani participated on Tuesday 13/6/2023 in the consultative conference to retrieve the spirit of Mosul that held by UNESCO in 13,14/ June/2023 in cultural Mosul museum.
The conference was opened by the UNESCO’s representative statement Mr. Pawlo Fontani about the projects performed by the organisation in the first stage and with cooperation with the international organisations, followed by Nineveh governor statement read by his representative Mr. Hasan Alallaf , and he mentioned the role of the international organisations, it’s vital role to stabilise the area , and thus , the conference was attended by the presidents of university of Mosul,Northern technical university , and Mosul churches official Father Raed , and a number of the Elite people.
This consultative conference came to draw the strategy and reschedule projects that contribute to revive the spirit of Mosul and support the city’s security to draw a clear plan , and to carry out the second stage of the UNESCO’s general director initiative that aimed to revive the spirit of our beloved Mosul , and finally we wish Allah to grant us the success to accomplish our achievements.
