On Wednesday, May 29, 2024, the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Ammar Saadoun Hamed, participated on behalf of the University President in the first international scientific conference titled “Protection and Preservation of Antiquities and Heritage in Iraq” under the slogan “Our Antiquities, Our Future.” The conference will continue through Wednesday and Thursday, May 29-30, 2024.
The conference witnessed a significant international presence, including archaeological experts from the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and Italy.
The first day of the conference included scientific sessions and lectures on how to protect Iraqi antiquities and preserve our country’s rich heritage in ways that safeguard the historical legacy of the land of civilizations. … With God’s success.
