Faculty Member at University of Ninevah Earns a PhD in Management and Organization

Ms. Farah Fares Idris Al-Sharafani, a faculty member in the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance at University of Ninevah, was awarded a PhD degree in Management and Organization on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, after defending her dissertation entitled:

“Strategic Thinking Skills and Coach Relationships and Their Role in the Organizational Pride of the Assistant Technical and Administrative Staff Members of Iraqi Premier League Clubs in Team Sports”

The dissertation defense took place at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at University of Mosul in Al-Injaz Hall, attended by a number of academics, researchers, and individuals interested in academic and sports affairs.

The dissertation examined the strategic thinking skills and relationships of coaches in Iraqi Premier League clubs participating in team sports, and explored the impact of these two independent variables on the dependent variable represented by organizational pride among members of the assistant technical and administrative staff working with the coaches.
