Assistant Professor Dr. Thakir Mahfouz Hamed Al-Dulaimi, a faculty member in the Student Activities Department at the University of Ninevah, participated in the committee for the defense of a PhD dissertation submitted to the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul by the student Farah Faris Idris Al-Sharfani, entitled:
“Strategic Thinking Skills and Coach Relations and Their Role in Organizational Pride among Members of the Technical and Administrative Supporting Staff of Iraqi Premier League Team Sports Clubs.”
The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul witnessed, on Wednesday, 13/5/2026, an academic discussion addressing the impact of strategic thinking skills and coach relations in enhancing organizational pride among members of the technical and administrative supporting staff in Iraqi premier league team sports clubs.
The dissertation examined the dimensions of strategic thinking represented by reflection, foresight, systems thinking, time-oriented thinking, and restructuring. It also studied the coach’s relationships with the team manager, assistant staff, sports media, and fan associations, and how these relationships are reflected in the level of organizational pride among technical and administrative assistants.
The study aimed to identify the nature of the relationship and the contribution rate of strategic thinking skills and coach relations in achieving organizational pride among members of the supporting technical and administrative staff, in a way that contributes to improving the sports work environment and enhancing institutional performance in Iraqi premier league clubs.
