A Promising Talent at the College of Information Technology, University of Ninevah Develops an Intelligent Application for Student Attendance Management

The Dean of the College of Information Technology at University of Ninevah, Professor Dr. Manar Younis Kashmoula, received in her office the Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence, Dr. Lubna Thanoon Ahmidi, accompanied by Batool Mahmoud Obeid, a first-year student in the Department of Artificial Intelligence.

The Dean was briefed on a presentation delivered by the student regarding the intelligent application she developed for recording student attendance. The student explained the mechanism of the application and its potential use in organizing attendance procedures inside classrooms through a modern technological approach that contributes to facilitating procedures and enhancing monitoring efficiency.

The Dean praised the distinguished level demonstrated by the student, emphasizing that this achievement reflects the promising capabilities of the college students, especially those in the early academic stages. She also stressed the importance of supporting student initiatives that enhance programming skills and technological innovation.

Furthermore, she directed that the application should be further developed and enriched with new features that would improve its efficiency and expand its future applications in serving the educational environment.
