Under the patronage of the President of the University of Ninevah,Professor Dr. Osama Ismail Al-Mashhadani, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Moamin Junaid Al-Dabbouni, the Department of Internal Medicine at the College of Medicine / University of Ninevah organized a specialized scientific seminar on Sunday, 3/5/2026, entitled “Advances in Cardiovascular Diseases.” The event was held at the hall of Professor Dr. Muzahim Al-Khayyat.
The session was chaired by Professor Dr. Nabil, founder of the Department of Internal Medicine, and was attended by a number of faculty members from the College of Medicine at the University of Mosul, representatives from the Nineveh Health Directorate, as well as academic staff and students of the college.
The seminar featured a series of scientific lectures that highlighted the latest developments in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. Topics included early coronary artery disease, acute stroke, the safety of biological therapies, and the challenges associated with heart diseases in women during pregnancy.
The seminar witnessed notable scientific engagement, reflected in specialized discussions that contributed to deepening medical understanding and enhancing awareness of the latest therapeutic practices in this vital field.
