The President of the University of Ninevah, Professor Osama Al-Mashhadani, extended his sincere congratulations and best wishes to Mr. Firas Mishhal Abdul Jabbar Al-Nuaimi, Assistant Lecturer at the College of Law, University of Ninevah, on the occasion of obtaining his Ph.D. degree with an Excellent distinction for his dissertation entitled:
“The Drafting of Civil Contracts and Its Impact on Achieving Legal Certainty: A Comparative Study.”
The dissertation was defended at the College of Law, University of Mosul, on Tuesday, 23 June 2026.
The University President praised this distinguished academic achievement, noting that it represents a valuable addition to the University of Ninevah’s academic and research accomplishments. He emphasized that faculty members’ attainment of higher academic qualifications contributes significantly to strengthening the University’s scientific progress, enhancing academic and research excellence, improving the quality of higher education, and serving the community.
The dissertation examined the importance of precise legal drafting of civil contracts and its role in promoting legal certainty and ensuring the stability of contractual relationships. It highlighted how clear and accurate contractual provisions help protect the rights of the contracting parties, reduce legal disputes, and foster confidence and stability in contractual transactions.
The examination committee unanimously approved the dissertation with an Excellent distinction in recognition of its scholarly value, rigorous legal analysis, and significant academic contributions.
In concluding his congratulatory message, the University President wished Dr. Firas Al-Nuaimi continued success, progress, and academic excellence, expressing confidence that he will continue his distinguished academic career in service of the University of Ninevah and Iraq.
