Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, President of Nineveh University and a pediatric surgery consultant, participated as the chairman of the discussion committee for the Iraqi Council of Medical Specializations

in the specialization of pediatric surgery for student Obaida Abdul Kareem Mahmoud. The discussion took place on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Dr. Mazahim Al-Khayat Hall. The committee listened to the student’s research titled “Technique of Anterior Sagittal Anorectoplasty and its Early Results in the Management of Anorectal Malformations,” and awarded him the board certification in pediatric surgery with a very good grade, after making minor adjustments to the research. The committee wished the student continued success and prosperity.

The discussion committee consisted of :
