Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Abdul Qadir Hussein, a faculty member at the University of Ninevah / College of Nursing, participated as a member of the Master’s thesis defense committee for student Marwan Fathi Suleiman. The thesis was entitled: “The Significance of Phonetic Suggestion in Ahmad Shawqi’s Nahj al-Burdah (d. 1932).”
The defense was held at the Department of Arabic Language, Al-Imam Al-A’dham University College / Ninevah, in the presence of members of the specialized scientific committee. Dr. Abbas contributed to the academic discussion and scientific evaluation of the thesis, as part of the University of Ninevah’s active academic engagement and the participation of its faculty members in scientific thesis defense committees.
