A delegation from Ninevah University headed by Prof. Dr. Muzahm Al-Khyatt, President of the University, accompanied by members of the University Council and a number of academics, visited on Wednesday, 22/2/2020 Ninevah Governorate to explore further cooperation between our university and Ninevah Governorate. The governor praised the university president during their work in the crisis cell, describing it as a valuable experience as it resulted in the implementation of many projects in Ninevah province.
For his part, the President of the University stressed the need to cooperate with the governorate and work in spirit of one team to provide logistical, technical and advisory support for the advancement of the city’s health and services.
The President of the University also called for the need to accelerate the reconstruction of bridges, hospitals, universities, and schools, to compensate the affected and facilitate the procedures of citizens in government departments. The project to build Ninevah University in the “al-athba” site was presented to the Governor, who expressed his approval and instructed to form joint committees between the governorate and the university to start the work and accelerate its implementation. The university will provide service to people on the right side of the city, as well as people from the south of Mosul.
The President of the University presented the university shield, to the Governor of Ninevah, wishing him good luck and good service to our dear governorate.
