As part of the University of Ninevah’s commitment to strengthening the practical aspect of its academic programs, and in implementation of the joint scientific cooperation agreement between the College of Pharmacy and the Nineveh Health Directorate, a number of Pharmacy students participated in the Clinical Training Orientation Program held at Al-Salam Teaching Hospital, under the supervision of Dr. Abeer Mansoor.
The program introduced students to the objectives of clinical training, its implementation mechanisms, and the requirements for enrollment. It also covered the training modules, regulations governing trainees’ responsibilities, as well as monitoring and evaluation procedures. These components aim to enhance students’ professional and clinical competencies and prepare them to practice pharmacy in accordance with the highest professional standards.
The organizers emphasized the importance of adhering to training regulations and responsibilities, while making the most of the educational opportunities provided through clinical training within healthcare institutions. Such training plays a vital role in preparing qualified pharmacists capable of delivering high-quality healthcare services.
