Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, President of Nineveh University and Consultant in Pediatric Medicine and Surgery, chaired one of the scientific sessions at the Second Pediatric Medical Conference, held in collaboration between the Arab Board for Health Specializations – Pediatrics, Kurdistan Board for Medical Specialties, College of Medicine at Hawler Medical University, Iraqi Pediatric Society, and Kurdistan Pediatric Society, at the Divan Hotel in Erbil, Kurdistan Iraq, from April 25th to April 26th, 2024.
The conference was attended by His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Saleh Al-Hasnawi, the Governor of Erbil, the Minister of Health of the region, board officials, and a select group of Iraqi university presidents.
Dr. Al-Mashhadani delivered a speech during the conference, emphasizing the importance of participation and collaboration in organizing international medical conferences to exchange experiences, discuss ideas, and learn about the latest developments in the medical and healthcare field.
Speakers from foreign and Arab countries participated in the conference, along with professors from Iraqi and international universities. The discussions revolved around the latest research and advancements in pediatric medicine. The conference concluded with the honoring of Dr. Al-Mashhadani and the conference participants with a commemorative shield, wishing everyone continued success and prosperity.
