University of Nineveh achieves first place in Iraq and fifth in the Arab world in the “Arab Knights” competition for toxicology sciences.

Continuing its approach of supporting its outstanding students and sending them to participate in various international forums, under the patronage of the university president, Dr. Osama Al-Mashhadani, and the guidance of the deans of the College of Pharmacy and the College of Medicine.

A delegation comprising a number of outstanding students from the University of Nineveh participated in the Fifth International Conference on Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies in Pharmacy and Toxicology held in Saudi Arabia from April 22-23. The conference included scientific lectures, workshops, and competition for the Arab Knights Cup in toxicology.

The delegation from the University of Nineveh included students from the College of Pharmacy: Mohammed Ghanem and Mohammed Mustafa, and from the College of Medicine: Mashan Adeeb, under the supervision of Dr. Yasser Hazem, Head of the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Department at the College of Pharmacy.

The competition witnessed strong competition among more than twenty Arab universities, where the University of Nineveh distinguished itself with its extensive knowledge and high skills in various fields of toxicology, earning the title of first place in Iraq and fifth in the Arab world.

This achievement serves as a new testament to the excellence of the University of Nineveh and its commitment to supporting talented students and providing them with the appropriate environment for creativity and excellence. It also contributes to enhancing the university’s position at the Arab and international levels.
