The University of Nineveh Council convened its fifth open session for the academic year 2024/2023 on Monday, March 25, 2024. The council discussed the agenda items, including:
- Encouraging the organization of scientific and cultural seminars and lectures to promote authentic Iraqi Islamic values and combat deviant and destructive ideologies and behaviors.
- Continuing efforts to obtain programmatic and institutional accreditation.
- Preparation for final and diagnostic exams.
- Discussion of support mechanisms and supervision for the establishment of Sinjar University.
The session also included discussions on ways to enhance the university’s global ranking, promote rigorous scientific research, and establish postgraduate studies in the College of Medicine. The council expressed its wishes for continued progress and dedication in serving the educational mission of our beloved country.
