On Monday, August 31, 2026, Asst. Prof. Dr. Omar Mahmoud Abd, a faculty member in the Department of Student Activities at the University of Ninevah and Director of the University of Ninevah Forum for Culture and Arts, participated as a member of the master’s thesis defense committee for student Rahma Nouri Badawi, whose thesis was entitled “Bedouin Life in the Poetry of Ma‘n ibn Aws al-Muzani.” The defense was held at the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Mosul.

Following the presentation of the thesis and the discussion of its academic and scientific topics with the student, the committee approved the thesis and awarded the student a Master’s degree with a “Satisfactory” grade.
Dr. Omar Mahmoud Abd’s participation reflects the active academic and scholarly engagement of University of Ninevah faculty members and contributes to strengthening academic and scientific cooperation between the University of Ninevah and Iraqi universities.
