University of Nineveh Faculty Member Earns Ph.D. in Motor Learning

Dr. Omar Hussein Ibrahim Al-Jarjari, a faculty member in the Student Activities Department at the University of Ninevah, has been awarded a Ph.D. degree in the field of Motor Learning.

On this occasion, the President of the University of Ninevah, Professor Dr. Osama Ismail Al-Mashhadani, extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes, on behalf of himself and the entire university community, to Dr. Al-Jarjari for earning his doctoral degree in Motor Learning from the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul, following the successful defense of his dissertation entitled:

“The Effect of Educational Programs for Certain Mental and Coordinative Abilities on the Development of Motor Anticipation among Football Players.”

The dissertation defense took place on Thursday, June 11, 2026, in the Discussion Hall of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul, in the presence of a number of academics and researchers.

The examination committee was chaired by Professor Dr. Aqeel Yahya Hashim, President of the University of Tal Afar. Committee members included Professor Dr. Sarmad Ahmed Mousa from the University of Tikrit, Assistant Professor Dr. Khalid Mohammed Dawood from the University of Mosul, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Fattah Rashid from the College of Basic Education at the University of Mosul, and Assistant Professor Dr. Adham Saleh Ahmed from the University of Mosul.

The dissertation was supervised by Professor Dr. Nawfal Fadhel Rashid and Professor Dr. Hashim Ahmed Suleiman.
