Based on the agreement of mutual cooperation with the University of Mosul, both the assistant rector for scientific affairs Dr. Jaafar Ramadan Mohammad, and the Emeritus Prof. Khaleel Hasan Sayid Maree participated in the discussion of the Ph.D. dissertation at the College of Engineering/Department of Electricity under the title of “ Multiple Array Pattern Reconfiguration with Common Excitation Weights Using Optimization Algorithms “. The discussion was held at Alkhawarizmi Hall on Thursday 17.8.2023
The dissertation presented by the student Duaa Elias Kareem aimed to suggest many ways of the reconfiguration radiation pattern of matrix antennas based on precise control of the amount of change in both phase and capacity for each of the elements of the matrix antenna used.
The results showed the activity of the suggested ways by the optimal genetic algorithms in designing this type of advanced antennas that were required by modern communication systems.
Finally, we congratulate both the student and supervisor for this scientific achievement and we wish our beloved university staff more success and prosperity in serving our country.
